Help us!

We are still up and running because of people like you who collaborate with us anyway they can, that is giving advise, donating or sharing their time and talent. Here are a few options for you to be part of our project, though we are also keen to hearing new ideas!

Whatever you think that may help us will probably do. Whatever amount you consider fair would sure be more than enough. You can make an easy and secure money contribution through PayPal (hopefully coming soon) or if you prefer, directly transfer money to our Indian bank account:

IFSC Code : PUNB0390500
Account No
: 3905001700000876 (INR)

Otherwise you can use the post service, through which we are able to receive all kinds of things, from educational material to farming tools or anything you think it maybe be useful for us. This is our home address:

You are very welcome to visit our first Permaculture project at Haddha village to see the progress and the surroundings. You can stay the night at the farm and enjoy a little tour into the desert with a camelride. There you can experience the beautiful desert sunset, clear star sky, the local wildlife and an ancient local village close to the farm. At the farm, Mohan will explain you some different permaculture techniques he applies. For this we ask 500 INR for one night stay. This is all inclusive, with transport from Jaisalmer to Haddha. In this way you can learn about the permaculture project in a nice atmosphere and contribute to Greening Jaisalmer.

Our doors are open for volunteers from all around the world. You can help at our first permaculture project at Mohan and Jessica’s farm, 30 kilometers away from the city in Haddha. Other projects are underway and we can tell you about current developments in Jaisalmer and Barmer. Based on your interests we can find the best place for you.

Unfortunately, until we become self sufficient we ask our volunteers for a small contribution of 200 INR (3 USD) to cover daily accommodation and food expenses. A part of this contribution is also used to buy trees, fencing and education for farmers and children about food security. The taxi from Jaisalmer to Haddha village and back costs 100 INR. From the village, Mohan will pick you up with a camel (or camel-cart) to the Greening Jaisalmer farm. There you will meet Mohan and his friendly family. At the farm, they have cows, goats, sheep, camels and dogs. Jessica can teach you to make henna paintings and how to cook the local food. It is much appreciated if you help the children to improve their English. Mohan has been a camel-guide before, so he speaks English already.

We have new projects running further into the desert where we will soon make it possible to volunteer at these permaculture projects. Please ask us about the possibilities.

Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.
We really hope to see you soon!

Last but not least, just by telling your friends about us you help A LOT.
